Jannah Seeds Company team for seed production conducted a survey visit to Kud Center for Agricultural Research in Abyan Governorate today, Monday, October 7th, 2024.
The visit, which was conducted by the General Manager of Jannah Seeds Company, Mr. Badr Mohammed Al-Azani, and the company’s work team, included learning about the activities of the research center and its laboratories after its rehabilitation, as well as reviewing the experiments of the varieties that were presented by Jannah Seeds Company. This visit to the center was an affirmation of the common desire between the public and private sectors to unify efforts and exploit all available capabilities to ensure improving work in the field of local seed production and multiplication, especially in light of the climate changes that Yemen and the world are witnessing, which requires everyone to work together to find the necessary solutions and search for agricultural varieties that are resistant to climate change.
Choosing the research center in Al-Kud and identifying it as a main destination for concluding a partnership in the agricultural sector came after its rehabilitation and the introduction of a number of modern technologies and devices, starting work with them in several departments, and providing them with special laboratories to conduct scientific research on seeds, soil, plants and fertilizers.
Among the guests of the center on today’s visit was Eng. Saleh Al-Zubairi, Executive Director of Al-Rida Foundation for Seed Production in Seiyun.
