A government delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture visited the #Jannah_Seeds in the city of #Aden today. The delegation consisted senior ministry officials, including Mr. Abdulmalik Naji – Deputy Minister of Agriculture for the Agricultural Production Sector, Mr. Badran Mohammed Saleh –General Manager of Control, Eng. Rashdi Mahmoud Al-Shuboti –General Manager of Plant Production, and Eng. Wadee’ Abdulhabib – an expert and researcher in agricultural seeds, and Mr. Wassam Badran.
The visit was also attended by Mr. Ghasan Abu Ghanem – Executive Director of Al-Qasimi Islamic Microfinance Bank, and Mr. Mohammed Al-Aisawi – the Bank’s Advisor. During the visit, the company’s capabilities were reviewed, including its laboratories and warehouses equipped with the latest technologies, cooling and humidity absorption devices using HVAC system. The discussion also covered production operations, research and development, and how the company’s future plan will contribute to raising the level of Food security in Yemen and preserving biodiversity by maintaining local seeds from extinction.
